Introducing Our New Home

So, here's everything you need to know:

👉 Closest stations are Kemble, Chippenham and Swindon, much quicker and easier to access on all main train lines nationwide 

👉 Shuttle bus from Chippenham station, direct trains from Bristol and London Paddington meaning a quicker and easier journey to GemFest by train 

👉 Straight off the M4, just 15 minutes from Junction 17. No more country lanes 

👉 Beautiful backdrop of Charlton Park House, a stunning manor house constructed from as early as the 1560s 

👉 More space than we could ever wish for – Charlton Park can be GemFest's home for many more years to come 

👉 More wooded areas in the arena and campgrounds. We know how much you loved the woods last year, and our new home is nestled between woods and copse's, with two, 400+ metre rows of lime trees. It's really quite stunning 

👉 The site has been home to WOMAD, a huge international festival, for 17 years up until very recently. It's a tried and tested festival ground that means we can focus our efforts on making the event the best it can be instead of building an entirely new site from scratch

We know it's a change, but we promise it's for the best. 

For those of you who booked shuttle bus tickets already, don't worry. We will contact you individually to arrange alternative transport free of charge. We love a forward planner and we promise to make sure this change doesn't impact you negatively!
