GEMFEST 2026 – TERMS & CONDITIONS

Event Dates: Thursday 11th June – Monday 15th June 2026

Location: Charlton Park Estate, Estate Office, Malmesbury SN16 9DG

Organiser: GemFest Ltd (“the Organiser”)

By purchasing a ticket and attending GemFest 2026, you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions.

1. TICKETS, ADMISSION & GENERAL CONDITIONS

1.1 By booking or holding a ticket, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“T&Cs”), which incorporate and should be read together with our official ticket agent’s terms and conditions (Skiddle, FIXR, or other authorised agents).

1.2 The Organiser (“GemFest”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”) means GemFest Ltd and/or its representatives, employees, and subcontractors.

1.3 The Organiser reserves the right to amend these T&Cs at any time. Updates will be published on the GemFest website and are binding on all attendees. If you purchase a ticket after an amendment, you agree to be bound by the updated version.

1.4 Tickets are non-refundable under any circumstances, including illness, travel disruption, or personal circumstances, unless the Event is cancelled in full (see Section 2: Refunds). Tickets may be transferred to another person through your ticket provider’s system — please contact your ticket agent directly to arrange transfers.

1.5 Tickets will be dispatched close to the Event date and only once full payment (including any payment plan instalments) has been received. You should expect to receive your ticket no later than 7 days before the festival starts.

1.6 Tickets are valid only for the Event itself. The line-up, billed artists, attractions, or schedule may be subject to change without notice. Such changes will not constitute a material alteration and do not entitle you to a refund.

1.7 Only valid tickets and wristbands will be accepted at the entrance. Barcoded tickets will be scanned upon entry. Once scanned, tickets cannot be reused.

1.8 Wristbands must be worn at all times for the duration of the Event. Wristbands that are removed, tampered with, transferred, or lost will be invalid and will not be replaced.

1.9 Re-entry is permitted with a valid wristband. However, for safety reasons, no re-entry is permitted between 8:00pm and 8:00am.

1.10 Car parking is available only in designated car parks with a valid Car Parking Pass. Vehicles cannot be driven into or parked within the campsite unless authorised (e.g. Campervan Pass holders).

1.11 Admission is at the ticket holder’s own risk. The Organiser accepts no liability for loss, injury, illness, or damage sustained at the Event (including theft or damage to personal property or vehicles), except where caused by our direct negligence and which cannot by law be excluded.

1.12 The Organiser reserves the right to:

  • Refuse admission or remove any person from site without refund for reasons including (but not limited to) intoxication, unsafe or antisocial behaviour, hate speech, harassment, discrimination, crowd surfing or moshing, or any breach of these T&Cs.

  • Impose restrictions or conditions before and during the Event to ensure safety. Attendees must comply with all reasonable instructions given by Event staff, stewards, and security.

1.13 No unauthorised trading, commercial, or promotional activity is permitted on site. Goods bearing the GemFest name or branding that are sold without permission may be confiscated and the trader evicted.

1.14 By entering the site, you consent without charge to being photographed, filmed, or otherwise recorded. Such media may be used for security, crime prevention, or promotional purposes across any media at any time. This includes CCTV.

1.15 No unauthorised buses, coaches, or vehicles will be allowed on site.

1.16 Mobility scooters must be declared in advance with the Access Team. A condition of use disclaimer must be signed, and scooters must be operated safely within a busy festival environment.

1.17 Warning: exposure to loud and excessive music may damage hearing. Please wear hearing protection. Pyrotechnics, lasers, smoke machines, strobe lighting, and other special effects may be used during performances.

1.18 GemFest accepts no responsibility for goods or services purchased from third-party traders.

1.19 Any person found causing damage to the site, facilities, equipment, or property (including graffiti, vandalism with marker pens, or other deliberate damage) will be removed from the Event and held liable for the full cost of repair or replacement. The Organiser reserves the right to recover these costs directly from the individual and/or pursue legal action.

1.20 The names and marks “GemFest” and the GemFest logo are trademarks of GemFest Ltd and may not be used without prior written consent.

1.21 These T&Cs are governed by English law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

2. REFUNDS

2.1 Tickets for GemFest are non-refundable, except in the limited circumstances set out below. Tickets may be transferred to another person through the official ticket agent’s system. Please contact your ticket provider directly for assistance with transfers.

2.2 Refunds will only be considered if:

  • (i) The Event is cancelled in full and not rescheduled (in the case of partial cancellation, refunds will be proportionate); or

  • (ii) The Event is materially altered (a “material alteration” being, in Our opinion, a change which makes the Event materially different to that which ticket purchasers, taken generally, could reasonably expect). The following are not considered material alterations: changes to the line-up, changes to individual artists or band members, adverse weather, delays in start times, or curtailment where the majority of the Event has taken place; or

  • (iii) In exceptional cases, at the sole discretion of GemFest Ltd.

2.3 Any refund requests must be made by the original purchaser of the ticket.

2.4 Refunds of booking fees or order fees are subject to the terms and conditions of the ticket agent.

2.5 Refund requests must be submitted to the point of purchase no later than three (3) months after the Event.

2.6 Personal arrangements relating to the Event (including but not limited to travel, accommodation, or subsistence) are at your own risk. GemFest accepts no liability for costs or wasted expenditure beyond the refund of the ticket price in accordance with these terms.

2.7 We reserve the right to make alterations to the time, date, duration, or venue of the Festival in the event of unforeseen circumstances, including (without limitation) Force Majeure, safety and security concerns, or decisions from authorised persons or other competent authorities. Such alterations will not constitute grounds for a refund unless deemed a material alteration under clause 2.2.

3. TICKETS AND WRISTBANDS

3.1 Tickets for GemFest must only be purchased through our authorised ticket agents. Tickets purchased from unauthorised sources may be invalid and entry may be refused.

3.2 Tickets are non-refundable but may be transferred to another individual through the official ticket agent’s platform, subject to their terms and any applicable fees. The name on the ticket must match your valid ID. If purchasing a ticket from another person, you must ensure that the name on the ticket is updated correctly via the ticket agent. Tickets without a genuine name will not be permitted entry.

3.3 Each ticket contains a unique barcode that will be scanned upon entry. Once scanned, a ticket cannot be reused. If a ticket is found to be duplicated, whether in error or for fraudulent gain, only the first scan will be admitted. Any subsequent scans will be denied entry. Individuals found deliberately duplicating or reselling tickets for fraudulent gain may be refused entry, evicted, prosecuted, and banned from future events.

3.4 Tickets must be exchanged for a wristband on first entry at the wristband exchange. No re-entry on tickets. Wristbands are strictly non-transferable and will be invalid if removed, tampered with, or resold.

3.5 Wristbands must be worn at all times for the duration of the Event and are required for access to the festival site, arena, and campsite. Only wristbands issued by GemFest in exchange for a valid ticket are valid for entry.

3.6 Re-entry is permitted with a valid wristband, except between 8:00pm and 8:00am, during which re-entry is not allowed.

3.7 Tickets and wristbands remain the property of GemFest Ltd until the Event closes. GemFest will not issue duplicates for lost or stolen tickets or wristbands. Treat your ticket and wristband as you would cash.

3.8 Tickets or wristbands obtained in breach of these T&Cs shall be void, and all rights conferred shall be null and void. Attempting to gain entry using a void ticket or wristband may result in refusal of entry, eviction, and possible legal action. Void tickets/wristbands are non-refundable.

3.9 Tickets and wristbands cannot be used as part of any marketing, media, or sales promotion without the prior written consent of GemFest Ltd.

3.10 Ticket holders should expect queues at entry and allow plenty of time for arrival. Refunds will not be issued for acts missed due to queuing or late arrival.

4. ENTRY TICKETS

4.1 A Weekend Camping Thursday Entry Ticket (including deposit tickets) is valid from Thursday 11th June – Monday 15th June 2026.

4.2 A Weekend Camping Friday Entry Ticket (including deposit tickets) is valid from Friday 12th June – Monday 15th June 2026.

4.3 Group tickets (3-person or 5-person bundles) are available. Each ticket within the bundle will be issued as an individual ticket and must be named to the correct attendee in the Skiddle or FIXR system prior to arrival.

4.4 Tickets purchased as part of a deposit scheme must be fully paid by the advertised deadline in order to remain valid. Unpaid deposits will be cancelled, and payments already made will not be refunded.

4.5 Re-entry is permitted with a valid wristband, except between 8:00pm – 8:00am, during which no re-entry is allowed.

5. ACCESS APPLICATION DEADLINE

5.1 All access-related applications, including but not limited to Essential Companion tickets, accessible campsite bookings, and other access arrangements, must be submitted no later than Monday 11th May 2026.

5.2 Applications received after this date will still be considered, but GemFest cannot guarantee that they will be processed in time.

6. PERSONAL ASSISTANT TICKET

6.1 Deaf, disabled, or neurodivergent festival goers who are unable to attend GemFest without the support of another person may apply for a Personal Assistant (PA) ticket. PA tickets are intended for individuals whose support needs are so substantial that, without assistance, they would not be able to attend the Event.

6.2 PA tickets are provided at no additional cost once an access application has been approved. A PA ticket can only be issued once the lead access customer has purchased their own ticket and supplied relevant supporting documents as proof of eligibility.

6.3 The PA ticket will always mirror the lead access customer’s ticket type. For example, if the lead access customer holds a General Admission, VIP Camping, or Glamping ticket, the PA will be issued the same type of ticket/wristband at no additional cost.

6.4 The PA will receive an e-ticket in their own name and must provide valid ID on entry. Both the access customer and the PA should, where possible, arrive together at the festival site.

6.5 Personal Assistants must be aged 18 or over.

6.6 One Adult Festival Entry ticket must be purchased before a PA ticket can be approved and added to the order. Where tickets are being paid via instalments, the PA ticket will only be issued once the full balance of the lead customer’s ticket has been paid.

6.7 Applications for PA tickets close on Monday 11th May 2026. Name changes on PA tickets must be completed by Friday 31st July 2026.

6.8 If the lead access customer transfers their own ticket to another person, the linked PA ticket will automatically be cancelled. If the new ticket holder has access requirements, they will need to make a new PA application with supporting evidence.

6.9 PA tickets cannot be sold, resold, or transferred separately. Any attempt to do so will result in cancellation of both the PA ticket and the associated Festival ticket, with admission refused.

7. INSTALMENT TICKETS – PAYMENT PLANS

7.1 Payment plans allow you to spread the cost of your ticket purchase over monthly instalments, including any booking fees and delivery charges. Payment Plans are operated by Skiddle, and you will have the option to select this method at the point of purchase.

7.2 All instalments must be paid in full in order to secure your ticket(s). If you fail to make payments in accordance with Skiddle’s terms and conditions, your ticket(s) may be cancelled, and you will not be eligible for a refund.

7.3 This agreement is not cancellable by you, and all payments made are non-refundable except in the case of full Event cancellation (see Section 2 – Refunds).

7.4 Instalment options are available for General Admission, VIP Camping, and Glamping tickets only.

8. CASHLESS PAYMENT SYSTEM

8.1 GemFest 2026 will operate a cashless payment system.

8.2 All points of sale on site will accept contactless card and mobile payments only. Cash will not be accepted anywhere on site.

8.3 By purchasing your ticket, you agree to comply with the use of the cashless payment system.

9. DAMAGE / LOSSES

9.1 GemFest does not accept any liability for personal or property damage, loss (including surrendered items), injury, or illness sustained at the Event, except where caused as a direct result of our negligence. Attendance at the Event is at your own risk.

9.2 Any person found causing damage to the site, facilities, infrastructure, or property (including but not limited to graffiti or vandalism with marker pens, paint, or other materials) may be removed from the Event and held liable for the full cost of repair or replacement. We reserve the right to recover these costs directly from the individual and/or pursue legal action.

9.3 Climbing onto any structures, barriers, fencing, lighting rigs, or other Event infrastructure is strictly prohibited. GemFest will not be responsible for injuries sustained as a result of such actions, and you may be removed from site without refund.

9.4 You are responsible for your own property and belongings. Do not leave valuables unattended. GemFest accepts no responsibility for theft, loss, or damage to personal property.

10. GATE SEARCHES AND PROHIBITED ITEMS

10.1 All ticket holders will be subject to searches on entry to the festival site. This may include clothing and bag searches at the gates or within the site. Sniffer dog units will be operating at all gates. Intimate body searches will only be carried out by the police.

10.2 GemFest operates a strict No Drugs Policy. The possession, use, or sale of illegal drugs, including nitrous oxide, is strictly prohibited. Anyone found in possession of illegal substances will be refused entry, evicted from the site, and may be handed over to the police.

Any products that are unsealed, unlabelled, or suspected of containing prohibited substances will be confiscated. This policy may be updated in line with Government guidance.

  • Camping stoves, barbecues, or gas canisters are not permitted anywhere on site.

10.9 Amnesty bins will be provided at entry points. Ticket holders will be given the opportunity to dispose of prohibited items before passing through searches. 11.6 Any person under the age of 18 who purchases an Adult ticket will be refused entry and will not be entitled to a refund.

11.7 ID checks will be carried out at the entry gates for anyone who appears under 18. Failure to present valid ID will result in refusal of entry without refund.

14.7 Trading from campervans or caravans is strictly prohibited and may result in eviction from the Event.

16.5 Found items will be kept by GemFest for up to two (2) weeks following the Event. After this period, unclaimed items will be donated to charity or disposed of securely. All reasonable efforts will be made to reunite items with their owners before this takes place.

16.6 GemFest accepts no responsibility for personal property that is lost, stolen, or damaged at the Event. All belongings are brought onto site at your own risk.

17. MEDIA POLICY

17.1 By entering the Festival site, you grant GemFest permission to use your image, likeness, or voice in any publicity, marketing, promotional, or security-related materials, including audio/visual recordings and photography, without payment.

17.2 Filming and photography are permitted throughout the public site for personal use only. All attendees are expected to be respectful, observe data protection law, and ask permission before taking close-up photographs or videos of others.

17.3 Commercial filming or photography is strictly prohibited without the prior written approval of GemFest. This includes filming or photography for sponsored content, advertising, or resale. Anyone found using images or footage for commercial purposes without permission may have their equipment confiscated and risk eviction from the Festival.
